Under the forested canopy of the Toandos penninsula on a bluff looking out to Dabob Bay stands this studio and living space. The design of the residence was two fold; create a comfortable living space on the first floor and a working space on the second floor. The choice to horse log the site to keep down the erosion of the sensitive site and utilize the timber in the construction of the dwelling. With a common liking of Japanese architecture the house was designed. Elements of nature run and hand craftsmanship are evident throughout.
